18MAY2018 - NEWS - Wärtsilä Manufacturing company of Finland initiates construction of LNG terminal at Port of Hamina, Finland

Wärtsilä a Finnish corporation which is involved in the manufacturing of the power sources and other marine equipments for marine and energy market has recently announced that the company has recevied all necessary building permits for building the liquified natural gas (LNG) terminal at the Port of Hamina. This work includes building of storage facilities for liquified natural gas (LNG). According to Wärtsilä the construction work has already started and the terminal is expected to start its operations by 2020. Port of Hamina is one of the biggest port in Finland and it serves as the hub in Europe and in the Baltic Sea region.
