GAC will open a warehouse and open yard in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) in January 2019 to expand its presence in Abu Dhabi and serve a wide range of sectors. The new facility located in KIZAD, Middle East’s largest industrial zone and a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports, will serve sectors including oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, FMCG, household effects, and specialist equipment. GAC has been in Abu Dhabi since 1967, and today has facilities at Sila, Ruwais, Mussafah, Mina Zayed and Abu Dhabi International Airport. KIZAD has also recently launched KIZAD Logistics City, in response to the needs of distributors, manufacturers, shippers and logistics companies in the region.
