Area of responsibilities
For this newly created position, based in Dubai, Glander International Bunkering is looking for a Master Data Assistant who can support and maintain our Master Data. Your tasks would involve:

• Updating and maintaining Master Data based on business requests
• Validation of data to ensure that the information is compliant and supports the business requirements
• Investigating and identifying data quality root causes
• Responding to changes and disruptions proactively and effectively
• Ad hoc administration and accounting related tasks

As a Master Data Assistant, you take on an exciting challenge in supporting a new Master Data team in Dubai. You will collaborate with the current Master Data team in Europe as well as supporting key external and internal stakeholders across our global organisation. As this is a new focus area in our Dubai office you will join a new team. Master data will be your main area, however over time as you develop more expertise within the field and the team expands, your tasks will also include more accounting or data processing related duties. You will be offered initial training to support your understanding of our business and can apply your skills accordingly. The position is full time and based in our office in Dubai. The role will be operated on a roster basis, in order to provide 24/7 support, therefore weekend work and evening work will be expected.

You have a holistic business understanding combined with a strong sense for the detail. Interacting with various stakeholders at different organisational levels comes naturally to you. You take ownership and always present high quality and tested deliveries.

Functional competencies
To be successful in this position you must have the necessary system knowledge and 3-5 years of experience working with Master Data. Experience with Navision and Accounting is relevant for this position as well as advanced Microsoft Office and IT skills.
