19NOV2018 - NEWS - Singapore based Raffles Shipping enters into contract with Shipbuilding for the construction of six chemical tankers

Singapore based Raffles Shipping is expanding its chemical tank fleet. The company has recently entered into a shipbuilding contract with CSIC-affiliated Wuchang Shipbuilding for the construction of up to six 19,700 dwt chemical tankers. The contract includes a firm order for two vessels and options for an additional four vessels. Raffles Shipping, controlled by Wilmar International, runs a fleet of 58 vessels comprising 20 bulkers and 38 tankers.
