19SEP2018 - NEWS - South Korea based Hyundai Heavy Industries to debut new regasification system at Gastech

South Korea based Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) will be debuting a compact regasification system called New Hi-ReGAS at this week’s massive Gastech exhibition in Barcelona. The new technology from the Korean shipbuilder is aimed at next-generation LNG FSRUs. According to the company, the regasification system uses an indirect heating system that uses a mixed heating medium, reducing weight by more than 70 tons and power consumption by 30% or more compared to conventional glycol systems.
