Are you a frontrunner in sourcing bunkers and looking to join a global leader in the industry? Do you want to grow within an experienced, multi-cultural team in Dubai?
Glander International Bunkering DMCC is seeking a Sourcer to join the team in Dubai. You will be responsible for taking lead in purchasing bunkers in the UAE market, predominantly in Fujairah – one of the three largest markets in the world.

Area of responsibilities

• Primarily procure bunkers from reputable suppliers in the UAE
• Lead a team to achieve targets for customer and business goals
• Identify, analyze and develop new opportunities as well as strengthen existing supplier relationships in the region
• Develop a daily reporting structure to support the business
• Assess the quality of vendors to ensure performance
• Build strategic alliances as per company strategy with key suppliers in the area in conjunction with other functions
• Ensure purchasing process complies with contractual terms and conditions
• Work closely with Accounts and ensure smooth administrative processes 
• Implement effective methods to optimize time and minimize errors     
• Ensure timely and smooth communication and delivery of bunkers to vessels according to the principle of Right Grade/ Right Volume/ Right Time at Right Price
• Mediate between suppliers and customers to dissolve disputes amicably

• Strong negotiator, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing and maintaining filing and monitoring systems
• Great attention to detail and passion for precision

Functional competencies

• Previous experience in the Bunkering industry is essential
• Knowledge and experience with Price Risk Management tools is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
