20FEB2018 - JOB - Executive/Senior Executive (Bunker Services) - Singapore

The Bunker Services Department (BSD) is tasked to promote and strengthen Singapore’s reputation as a safe and trusted bunkering port. It also safeguards the integrity and reputation of the Port of Singapore with regard to bunkering. 

You will assist in the formulation and implementation of policies as well as the administration of bunkering-related licences as follows: 

• Administration of Bunker Surveyor Licences – To oversee all matters pertaining to processing and issuance of bunker surveyor licences, and to manage the directory of bunker surveyors
• Administration of Bunker Surveying Company Licences – To coordinate matters related to employment and resignation of bunker surveyors with the Key Executive Officers of licensed bunker surveying companies, and to manage the directory of licensed bunker surveying companies
• Administration of Bunker Supplier and Bunker Craft Operator Licences – To coordinate with stakeholders on pre and post-renewal administrative follow-ups
• Administration of all on-line matter pertaining to bunker-related licences – To oversee all on-line processes and post-application administrative follow-ups for bunker supplier, bunker craft operator, bunker surveying company and bunker surveyor licensees
• Development of Revamped Bunker Services Management System – To coordinate and provide support to the development of the Revamped Bunker Services Management System.

You should possess a Maritime-related, marketing or business diploma, and be independent and meticulous with an eye for detail. You should be a good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Also, as this is a fast-paced job, you should have good time management skills and able to work well under pressure.
