20SEP2017 - JOB - Junior Bunker Trader - Navig8 - Orlando, USA

Summary of responsibilities:

• Update daily indications/report and send out
• Update bulletin board daily with indications for Navig8
• Obtain ETA updates from customers/agents
• Obtain supplier expected time of deliveries and advise clients of same
• Assisting traders when issues occur during deliveries
• Push suppliers/agents for Statement of Facts and share with clients/Navig8
• Update vessel laycan in BOS if vessel ETA shifts
• BOS updates of claims and pushing traders for resolution
• Coordinate with accounting on invoicing
• Proactively advise stakeholders of operational issues immediately when they occur
• Set up monthly  report on KPIs to stakeholders (Navig8 and management)
• Train to handle trading in the market with goal of becoming trader over time

Experience Required:

• Graduates are welcome to apply; Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant working experience in related industries will also be considered
• Other shipping experience e.g. in operations/chartering/agency would be an advantage 

Skills Required:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Very strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Keen interest in shipping and the fuel market
• Team player, able to communicate effectively across different geographies and cultures.
