20SEP2018 - NEWS - Jiangnan Shipyard of China receives AiP for LNG Bunker Vessel design from Lloyd’s Register

Jiangnan Shipyard of China which is one of the largest ship building company has recently  received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from Lloyd’s Register for its 7,500 m3 LNG bunker vessel (LBV) design at this year’s Gastech, taking place in Barcelona, Spain. The vessel is intended to supply gas for ships using LNG as fuel in support of the rapid growth of LNG fuel demand in the marine market, connected to the approaching global sulphur 2020 limit. The vessel is equipped with two IMO type C LNG tanks and a modern cargo handling system.
