21FEB2019 - NEWS - Ecopetrol of Colombia to export a rare cargo of heavy sour Mares Blend crude to Asia from Covenas port during this week

State led oil producing company Ecopetrol of Colombia is scheduled to export a rare cargo of heavy sour Mares Blend crude from Covenas port. The oil tanker Xin Run Yang is scheduled to load 300,000 barrels of Mares Blend as a combination cargo with 1.55 million barrels of heavy sour Castilla Blend. Hong Kong based Cathay Petroleum is the charterer and receiver of the VLCC-sized cargo, the loading program showed. The tanker is believed to have Asia as its destination.
