21FEB2019 - NEWS - Offshore driller Stena Drilling awarded contract for Orinduik Block, offshore Guyana

Offshore driller Stena Drilling has been recently awarded a contract by partners involved in the Orinduik Block, offshore Guyana, for the hire of its 2009-built drillship Stena Forth. The drillship is currently drilling off West Africa and it will be mobilised for the new contract at the end of May. The contract also include an option for a second well. The Orinduik partners, which include  Eco Oil & Gas, Total and Tullow, are currently reviewing plans for a second well and anticipate formalising those plans in the coming weeks.
