A new circular from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) reminds ships and owners that that exhaust gas cleaning residues generated by ships are classified as Toxic Industrial Waste (TIW) under Singapore’s Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations.
