21NOV2018 - NEWS - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha of Japan announces the delivery of a LPG carrier for Gyxis Corporation

Japanese shipping company Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) has recently announced the delivery of an LPG carrier for Gyxis Corporation. The VLGC LPG Genesis River was delivered to the company at Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ Sakaide Shipyard today. The 82,418 cbm newbuilding commences its service to Gyxis under a time charter contract concluded in 2015. On November 2, 2018, the ship was named Genesis River. The vessel is designed for improved propulsion performance and lower fuel consumption, with environmentally-friendly equipment such as ballast water management system installed.
