22APR2019 - NEWS - Increase in Cargo Volumes in Rotterdam port

As compared to Q1 2018, there was 5% increase in cargo handling in port Rotterdam. The liquid bulk throughput was high as compared to last year. There was also huge increase in LNG throughput as compared to voulmes of last year. Significant decrease in volumes was observed in the throughput of iron ore & scrap fell.The growth is mainly a consequence of a sharp rise in transhipment volumes originating in Asia.
