22JAN2019 - NEWS - North Dakota Industrial Commission approves amendments to the state’s crude oil conditioning requirements

The North Dakota Industrial Commission has recently approved amendments to the state’s crude oil conditioning requirements. The changes include the addition of a commission-approved oil conditioning policy and guidance, which will continue to assure that crude oil produced in the state is transported and marketed safely. After conducting more than 60,000 vapor pressure tests and analyzing what has been learned over the past 3 years, the information shows that changes should be made to the frequency and time of year when testing takes place. These changes will allow for more efficiency in using the state’s resources.
