22OCT2018 - NEWS - Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers places order for the construction of four shuttle tankers at Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry

Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT) has recently inkted shipbuilding contracts with Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry for the construction of four shuttle tankers. The order consists of two firm orders and options for another two vessels. The firm vessels are scheduled for delivery in the middle of 2021. KNOT is a joint venture between Norway’s Knutsen OAS Shipping and Japan’s NYK. The company currently operates a fleet of 33 shuttle tankers.
