22OCT2019 - NEWS - Total signs deal to develop Chinese low sulfur marine fuels market

Total says it will form a joint venture with Chinese state-owned Zhejiang Energy to accelerate the supply and delivery of low sulfur marine fuels in Zhoushan, China.

TOT will own a 49% share in the new joint venture company while Zhejiang will hold the remaining stake.

The Zhoushan region covers the Ningbo and Shanghai ports, the world's busiest shipping hub in terms of cargo tonnage.
