Do you have a knack for creating effective, value-based selling strategies and closing the sale? Then we have a spot for you on our team! Your expertise will help us grow our Marine business, as well as, partner with our existing customers in the Mid-Atlantic region (Northeast to Virginia coast). This is a great opportunity for someone with experience partnering with Marine business owners that impact the business.

Here are some of the other things you can look forward to working on.

Focus in the Marine segment offering a full range of proven coatings and technical service.
Partner with our clients to reduce fuel bills, extend maintenance cycles and cut dry-dock expenses via our coating solutions.
Develop long-term sales plans for key clients and adapt sales activities to meet and exceed your objectives
Work with multiple teams in new product development and to best meet the client's needs (i.e., Marketing, Customer Service, R&D, Technical Service).

We expect you to have the ability to anticipate our clients' needs and match them to the best solution. We also expect that you are a self-starter and a go-getter with strong relationship management skills. The ideal candidate is based in the New York or New Jersey area. Having experience in the following is helpful to succeed in this role.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
3 - 5 years of sales experience in Marine
Effective communication skills across multiple disciplines
Proven negotiation skills
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or similar
Ability to travel approximately 50%
Prior experience in coatings or a closely related field is preferred
NACE 1 strongly preferred
