23OCT2018 - NEWS - Norway based chemical tanker operator Stenersen placed order for the construction of two chemical tankers at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding

Norway based chemical tanker operator Stenersen has placed an order at Chinese yard Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding for the construction of two chemical tankers. Stenersen had previously ordered two 17,500 dwt chemical tankers at the yard in 2015. The second ship from that order, Sten Tor, will be delivered by the shipyard at the end of this month. Stenersen currently operates a fleet of 17 chemical tankers with an average age of 10 years.
