Technical Superintendent - Chemical Tankers - Middle East

Our client is a successful, rapidly expanding ship owner operating a mixed, modern fleet of vessels across Gas, Tanker, Dry Bulk and Container markets.

The Role:

• Control and advise on all technical aspects of vessels under management.
• Provide necessary marine technical expertise on ship management matters.
• Establish and maintain operational standards to enhance efficient, safety and reliability throughout the fleet.
• Executive effective cost control and budgetary management.

The Person:

• To be considered you will possess a Class 1 CoC (Motor or Steam) with a minimum experience threshold guide of 3 years sailing as C/E.
• Recent operational familiarity with chemical tankers.
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven shore-based experience in the role of Technical Superintendent managing chemical tankers.
• Effective communication and strong organisational skills are essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills are also essential.
