Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India has recently awarded a three years for jackup rig Ron Tappmeyer to UAE based Shelf Drilling. The contract is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2019, and will see the 1978-built rig operating in the Mumbai High, offshore India. Shelf Drilling has a fleet of 38 jack-up rigs.
