25JUN2019 - NEWS - Stolt-Nielsen’s bottom line to be hit by Houston fire

Stolt-Nielsen is due to post its second quarter report on 3rd July. Chemical tanker rates are gradually recovering from what was likely a bottom in 2018, results will be negatively affected by a fire in another Houston Terminal last March.
Despite the ITC terminal fire in Houston that should have a negative impact on both the Terminal and the Tanker segments, analysts anticipate an improvement QoQ, mostly thanks to a seasonal pickup in Tank Containers.
