The Exploration and Petroleum Technology networks are looking for graduates within the Geoscience (geology, geophysics, petrophysics) and Data science disciplines in different operational assets, support teams and research.

We are offering positions in the following locations: Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Harstad, Trondheim, Rio de Janeiro. Your exact assignment and location will be decided on the basis of your field of expertise, our business needs and your interests.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Various Geoscience (geological/ geophysical/ petrophysical) and data science evaluations and tasks in relevant organizational units within Exploration and Petroleum Technology
- Basin, Play & Petroleum System Analysis
- Prospect Evaluation & Maturation
- Well Planning
- Reservoir evaluation, characterization and modelling
- Technology development and implementation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within Geoscience (geology, geophysics, petrophysics etc) or Data science disciplines
- For Data science disciplines good scripting and programming skills together with knowledge of common data science toolkits, such as R, Python or Matlab is an advantage.
- Strong quantitative skills within statistics and data analysis
- No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience (for UK based positions: no more than three years of experience)
- Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
- International work and/or study experience preferred
- Extra curriculum activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
