Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Broker physical panamax deals between vessel owners and clients including marketing vessels, negotiating sales contracts, charter fixtures and attending closings and inspections
• Maintain and grow strong relationships with international clients including ship owners, producers, trading companies, end users, etc.
• Provide advice and solutions to clients based on freight calculations, market insight and information from port agents
• Produce market reports focused on the panamax segment and work with colleagues across different desks to increase information sharing
• Reports into the Head of Shipbroking

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 4 years’ experience in a shipbroking role
• Strong understanding of the marine and shipping industries with a focus on the dry bulk panamax market
• Excellent broking track record with good communication and IT skills
• Additional languages would be a plus
• Located in London or happy to relocate
