26DEC2017 - NEWS - Two compaines teamed up to research on self governing Ship Technology

Recently in a deal Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Rolls-Royce have agreed to jointly research technology for future ships. According to this deal Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) will be installing onboard Intelligent Awareness System (IAS) on Rolls-Royce’s ferry, which will be used to moniter near by ships and other obstacles.

Headquartered in Minato-Tokyo, Japan, MOL is a part of Mitsui Group.
