26NOV2018 - NEWS - Borr Drilling of Norway secures contract from Royal Gate Energy for the deployment of rig Norve in Equatorial Guinea

Norway based Borr Drilling has recently secured a new contract from Royal Gate Energy for the deployment of its 2011-built rig Norve in Equatorial Guinea. The contract is for a period of two months, starting from May 2019. orr Drilling has also converted another five previously announced LOIs into firm contracts. Two of the company’s newbuild rigs, Gerd and Groa, have been awarded contracts by Exxon Nigeria for a period of 24 months each, starting from March and April 2019 respectively. Newbuild rig Natt has secured a contract from First E&P Nigeria for works in Nigeria for a period of 24 months. The 2013-built Ran has been employed by Spirit Energy UK for a period of 11 months starting in April 2019.
