As our new Bunker Trader in Copenhagen, you will join a dynamic office, in the heart of Copenhagen, housing many specialists and a trading team of approx. six Traders. The team is characterized by proactivity, dedication and passion for the industry. 
Your main responsibilities are to further develop the business with Russian oil majors and physical suppliers, as well as developing and maintaining the Russian customer portfolio. You will also participate in the planning and execution of a business strategy for expanding Monjasa’s activities in the Russian market.
Your primary role is day-to-day trading, focusing on sales and purchase of bunker fuel, as well as logistical planning to optimise profits. The job requires travelling primarily but not limited to Russia and Ukraine. 

Areas of focus 
Develop business with Russian oil majors and physical suppliers of Marine Fuel and Gasoil in Russian ports 
Develop and maintain a solid and stable portfolio of customers 
Ensure optimal customer satisfaction by building strong personal relations and providing specialist advice in bunker solutions 
Strengthen credit facilities with suppliers 
Ensure Monjasa’s business in the Russian market is conducted in accordance with our compliance policies 

Your professional skills 
Min. 3 years of experience from the shipping, maritime, or oil industry especially in bunker trading and/or supply is required 
It is an advantage if you have existing ties/experience with either Russian suppliers or customers 
Fluency in written/oral English and Russian is required 
Experience with Russian business culture and practice is required 

Your personal skills 
Driven and resilient with a big customer focus 
Strong at building personal relations and communicating at all levels 
Ability to work both in teams and individually 
Entrepreneurial flair, sees new market opportunities and engaging with business partners as a motivational part of the job 
Flair for numbers, analysis and negotiation
