27AUG2018 - NEWS - Georgia Ports Authority opens new inland terminal near Chatsworth in Murray

The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) has recently opened a new inland terminal near Chatsworth in Murray County, Georgia, US, to serve customers in a four-state region, including North Georgia, Northeast Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The new Appalachian Regional Port (ARP) facility is developed to offer logistics solutions and eliminate around 50,000 trucks and 15 million truck miles off the local highways every year.
