Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commissioning Manager with an LNG background to support the planning, monitoring and supervision and on-site of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, completion and handover of an LNG import and re-gasification facility.

Key Responsibilities will include the following;

• Support the preparation and development of the commissioning plan for the client
• Review of the EPC Contractor’s commissioning plan and supporting documents
• Coordinate with stakeholders, EPC Contractor, vendors and PMC/Client Management team
• Assist in the preparation of execution plans for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and hand over of systems.
• Support the Commissioning Team in the office and in the field.
• Assist with the coordination of final handover to the client operations team and provide support during start-up and performance testing.
• Monitor the progress of pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Activities against plans and schedule providing support to avoid delays and solve issues.
• Assist with the development of Commissioning and Operations procedures provided by EPC Contractor with input from Vendors and Client.
• Provide support during vendor and EPC Contractor training of Client Operations Team.
• Participate in Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis contributing fully to the process to assist in ensuring a safe and incident free Commissioning and Transition to operations.
• Reporting to the Project Manager and Client on a weekly basis until the start of Pre-Commissioning then daily until completion and handover.

To be a suitable candidate for this position you should have an engineering degree with solid experience of hydrocarbon processing and LNG and high pressure natural gas. In addition you must have previous experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of LNG, refinery or petrochemical facilities. Previous experience working in the Middle East would be an significant advantage.
