27FEB2018 - NEWS - A joint venture of Australia and Japan plans for liquified natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal at New South Wales, Australia

As a part of joint venture, Australia and Japan are planning to develop a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) based liquified natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal at New South Wales (NSW), Austrailia. The terminal is expected to start its operation by 2020. Tokyo Electric Power and Chubu Electric from Japan are the companies involved in this project along with Marubeni Corporation.
