Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Manage a team of Chartering Executives and Operators for Oil Tankers
• Monitor market freight rates movement, provide regular evaluation and market analysis
• Negotiate contract terms
• Coordinate with technical and safety for cargoes stowage/handling
• Evaluation vessel performance for cargoes delivery, bunker consumption after each voyage and recommend improvement plan
• Maintain close relationship with Charterer/Broker
• Handles cargo disputes, demurrages, Customer’s complaint
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to Management

Requirements

Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years in Chartering Manager position
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
• Able to work with people and/or situation under strictly timeline and stressed condition
• Able to respond positively to challenges and ad hoc request
• Able to work independently but also as a team player
• Flexibility to adjust work scope and multi-tasking
• Taking ownership and accountability for contract negotiation

Education and Experience:

• Maritime or supply chain logistic degree / education or equivalent
• At least 10 years or more in shipping industry
