A well established and highly reputable shipping establishment is looking for experienced Technical Superintendents to join their team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking organisation.

As Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day to day technical operation and performance of the vessels under your control, ensuring their compliance with statutory, class and other third-party requirements.

Following the company’s energy management initiatives will also be a core aspect of the position, in addition to conducting vessel inspections, monitoring routine maintenance and managing all phases of the drydocking process.  There will be a requirement to travel, sometimes at short notice.

To be considered for this pivotal position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Have a minimum 7 years of sailing experience with at least 2 years’ experience at sea as a Chief Engineer (preferred) or a Senior Second Engineer
• Have detailed working knowledge of tankers
• Already be living and working in Singapore
