28DEC2018 - NEWS - South Korea based ship building company DSME gets order for the construction of LNG carrier

South Korea based ship building company Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has recently signed a deal for the construction of an additional LNG carrier. The order has been placed by an unidentified shipowner from Oceania. The 174,000 cbm ship will feature the M-type, Electronically Controlled, Gas Injection (MEGI) engine and  full re-liquefaction system, the shipbuilder said. The newbuild is scheduled for delivery in 2021.
