28DEC2018 - NEWS - UAE based offshore builder Lamprell chosen to supply two jackup drilling rigs

UAE based offshore builder Lamprell has recently received a letter of intent from its Saudi Arabian joint venture International Maritime Industries (IMI) to supply two jackup drilling rigs to an end client of IMI. The rigs will be built collaboratively between the IMI and Lamprell. The two companies are in ongoing discussions with the end client regarding the specifications and contract terms.
