29AUG2018 - NEWS - Sinopec posts best half yearly profit on crude rebound

China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation which is  the world's largest refiner by capacity, has recently reported its best half-yearly profits since listing 18 years ago, on better refining profits and a rebound in crude oil prices. The company which is also known as Sinopec seen profit 67.9 billion yuan profit for the first six months of the year which is around 51 percent more on year on year basis. According to the company the higher oil prices supported to the growth.
