29JAN2018 - NEWS - IMO - Ship Design and Construction meeting held last week

A sub committee of IMO on Ship Design and Construction (SDC) had a meeting last week in which a Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulation on safe mooring was expected to be finalised. International Maritime Organization (IMO) is working on the agenda of preventing accidents during berthing and regulations for passengers ships for the safety of passengers.
