JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Chartering, you will be involved in the chartering activities for container and bulk vessels, from the sourcing of vessels, negotiation of charter party clauses, and post-fixtures functions. You will also be assisting to guide the team members in the Chartering team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and review chartering strategy for the group
• Source and conduct evaluation of vessels and negotiations of Charter Party
• Oversee post fixtures of the chartered in vessels to ensure Charter Parties are implemented smoothly and disputes are handled professionally
• Preparation of reports on chartered vessels updates
• Any other projects as assigned by the management

Requirements

• Degree in relevant fields with minimum 5 - 10 years experience in container & bulk chartering
• Driven and able to work independently
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the container/shipping industry, chartering practices, Charter Party negotiations including legal and technical aspects
• Possess good command of English, spoken and written and strong problem solving skills
