29JUN2018 - NEWS - Clean up activity is in progress to recover heavy fuel oil spilled at port of Rotterdam

Recently around 220 metric tons of heavy fuel oil spilled at the port of Rotterdam after a tanker hit a jetty. Crew members are working on the clear the oil spilled. As of Wednesday approximately 160 tonnes of oil had been recovered and the rest of the oil is likely to be recovered less quickly. The Port of Rotterdam Authority is coordinating with a clean-up agency to clean up the port water on priority.
