29MAR2019 - NEWS - Princess Cruises inks ship building contracts with Italian Ship builder Fincantieri for the construction of two next generation cruise ships

Cruise line Princess Cruises which is a brand of Carnival Corporation, and shipbuilder Fincantieri have recently signed today final contracts for the construction of two next-generation cruise ships. Scheduled for delivery in Monfalcone in late 2023 and in spring 2025, the vessels will be able to accommodate approximately 4,300 passengers each. They will be based on next-generation platform design, being the first Princess Cruises ships to be dual-fuel powered primarily by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
