29OCT2019 - NEWS - Maersk Tankers keeps rotor sails following successful trial

Maersk Tankers used less fuel and emitted less CO2 aboard a vessel, on which two large rotor sails are installed. The vessel will continue to use the sails even though the experiment is over.

The two mechanical sails are tower more than 30 meters and create momentum by rotating.
