30JAN2019 - NEWS - South Korea based ship builder Samsung Heavy Industries receives order for the construction of two LNG carriers from Celsius Tankers of Denmark

South Korea based ship building company Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has recently received its first order this year for two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. Samsung Heavy Industries revealed it signed a deal with Denmark’s Celsius Tankers for two vessels. The LNG carriers will be fitted with SHI-developed eco-friendly and smart ship technologies, enabling the vessels to comply with the upcoming environmental regulations. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2021.
