Recently according to the sources and as per the alerts sent to the clients by a marine fuel fuel surveying company, contaminated marine fuel that clogs and damages ship engines has been found in Singapore. Maritec Pte Ltd which is a Singapore based marine fuel surveyor and consulting company has warned clients this week that six samples of ship fuel sold in Singapore had “resulted in severe sludging at centrifuges, clogged pipelines, overwhelmed fuel filters”.
