Job description 
Roles & Responsibilities

Global supply and demand analysis 
Tracking new LNG projects commissioning/start up status, existing LNG projects’ production, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance 
Monitoring each LNG importer or buyer’s demand fluctuations and the main factors which impact the demand such as nuclear/solar power developments in Japan, coal to gas switching in China, South Korea and Chinese Taipei, hydrate power in South America & Southern Europe, domestic natural gas production or importation of Brazil/Argentina/Pakistan/Thailand and so on. 
Price Analysis 
Following oil, oil products, gas (HH/NBP or TTF/JKM), coal, electricity, emission price and shipping rate movement and the movement of the spreads between various indexes. 
Trades Analysis 
Working closely with traders to record spot/term deals confirmed by parties or heard in the market. 
Recording selling/buying tenders or interest spotted by team members. 
Working together with the traders to propose strategies on potential deals including pricing and commercial terms. 
Reporting 
Reporting on daily/weekly/monthly basis of the new development in the gas and LNG market. 
Writing or editing reports on desiccated topics, such as LNG as the Marine Fuel after IMO 2020, China’s Coal to Gas Switching, Nuclear and Solar Power in Japan and so on. 

Requirements 
Degree in Energy, Engineering, Business, Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics or equivalent. 
More than 8 years’ experience in Energy Market, such as oil and gas, coal, power and so on. 
Strong analytical and quantitative skills. 
Good written and verbal communication skills. 
Meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team.
