30MAY2019 - NEWS - GAIL ties up with ExxonMobil to explore supplying natural gas

GAIL has signed an initial agreement with ExxonMobil, the most valuable energy company in the world, to explore jointly supplying natural gas to power and transportation sector in India. The two company's were exploring possibility of expanding gas business in India by supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to heavy goods vehicles as well as power plant.The talks were still at a preliminary stage and it would be hard to predict a timeline for a possible joint venture between GAIL and ExxonMobil .
