Job Description

Duties and Responsibilites: - Incumbent acts as Marine Section representative after normal working hours and during weekends and holidays with respect to the activities of Port service vessels - Incumbents maintains operational logs and other documentation relating to the operational activities of company owned and contractor Marine Service craft in Rabigh Port - Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the consumption of fuel oil and water by port service vessels during his shift is correctly accounted for and records maintained - In the event of an emergency the Duty Shift Coordinator will carry out all necessary duties listed for his position in the Local Emergency Response Plan - In situations where work permits or gate passes are required to facilitate maintenance or repair work during his period of duty the Duty Shift coordinator will issue all such work permits etc in accordance with current company policies and instructions. - Incumbent maintains contact with Port Control and the masters of Port Service vessels to ensure that Port service vessels provide the required services safely and efficiently, as and when required. Qualifications: - High School or higher education - Minimum 8 years experience in Marine Field - Special training in navigation, teletype and radio communication.- General knowledge of marine field. - Knowledge of marine communication equipment - Good command in both English language and computer skills
