30OCT2018 - NEWS - Rolls Royce receives contract to provide power and propulsion solutions for four new Ro-Pax vessels

Rolls-Royce has recently received a contract to provide power and propulsion solutions for four new Ro-Pax vessels to be owned by Norway’s Havila Kystruten. The ships will feature a Havyard 923 design and are scheduled to begin service in January 2021 on the coastal route to serve the cities of Bergen and Kirkenes in Norway. Havila Kystruten has already contracted Spain’s Astillero Hijos de J Barreras shipyard to build two of the vessels and Turkey’s Tersan yard to build the remaining two.
