Taiwan based shipping line Evergreen has recently signed shipbuilding contracts with CSSC-affiliated Jiangnan Shipyard for the construction of four containerships. The contract marks Evergreen’s first ever newbuilding order at a Chinese mainland shipyard. The vessels will be classified by Class NK and will be fitted with scrubbers, and are expected to be delivered in 2020.
