31MAY2018 - NEWS - Chennai port of India working on to become a fuel hub for the ships on the east coast

According to the representatives of the Chennai port, India, the port will have a dedicated bunker berth inside the port. For the construction of this bunker berth the final agreement will be signed in the near future. This bunker berth will be constructed to accomodate the bunker tanker vessels. By this Chennai port will become a bunker capital on the east coast to supply the bunker fuel to the ships. Since last two years Chennai port is supplying bunker fuel to ships in the anchorage area outside the port.
