Monjasa Americas (Panama) is looking for an experienced and proactive bunker trader with ambitions to develop in an international bunker company.

Job description
Monjasa is a leading global partner in the oil and shipping industry, and as our new Bunker Trader you will join our team characterized by proactivity, hard work and dedication to the industry. Your primary role is day-to-day trading in our physical supply team, focusing on sales and logistics to optimize profits. You will be in contact with networks all over the world and have an international approach towards your work. You will be guided by a mentor in every aspect of the business.

Areas of focus
Developing and maintaining a solid portfolio with strong relations in Panama
Developing and negotiating spot business and long-term client contract solutions on all levels
Promoting Monjasa’s physical supply network and focus areas
Optimising logistics, sourcing and costs
Ensuring optimal client satisfaction by providing specialist advice in bunker solutions, smooth coordination of fuel supply and solving claims/disputes

The ideal candidate - professional skills
Experience from the shipping-, maritime-, or oil- industry
A good network within the shipping community is an advantage
5+ years of sales experience (with documented results) preferred
IT proficient – experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Experience working with CRM systems (Navision) is an advantage
Fluent in written/oral Spanish and English
