Maersk Oil Trading (MOT) - Bunker Programmer - Singapore
Maersk Oil Trading (MOT) is looking for a vessel operator to join our trading team in the Singapore office.
MOT is part of the Transport & Logistics Division of APMM and is responsible for ensuring best in class bunker supply in more than 200 ports globally for more than 1000 vessels. We source more than 10 million metric tonnes of fuel annually from external suppliers and via our own supply chain. We work in a highly competitive industry and ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the sourcing of raw materials, blending them into finished fuel grades and delivering them using our certified, mass flow meter equipped, fleet of barges
Key Responsibilities
Specifically in your role in the MOT family as operator, it would involve:
managing barge operations in Malaysia & Singapore
managing a fuel storage and blending operation
monitoring and improving the performance of the bunker tanker operations as well as the installed mass flow meter system onboard
working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure continuous efficiency in bunkering operations.
managing relationships with bunker suppliers, vessel operators, surveyors, port/bunker agents, terminal operators, port authorities, and container terminal operators.
ensuring our contractual obligations are met
ensuring data is recorded to meet back office requirements
contributing to actively improving our operations in close cooperation with the trading team
maintain and implement QMBS SS 524
Who we are looking for
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification within engineering or commerce and will be a creative, socially competent individual who is motivated to always look for ways to improve and deliver better results. Relevant experience within the petroleum industry is preferred but not a prerequisite.
